Mohab A. Hussein, PhD, PE, PMP

BIO

Mohab Hussein is Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a founding member of the firm. He is responsible for the daily internal operations of the firm starting strategic planning, project management, design, engineering resources, and construction management for the North America and Middle East operations.

Mr. Hussein is a licensed professional engineer in the states of NY, NJ, and DC. He has valuable and diversified experience in the planning, design, coordination, and construction of a variety of projects including infrastructure, residential, and commercial. At his time at the New Jersey Department of Transportation, he worked on the $1 billion Pulaski Skyway Rehabilitation Project, $900 million I-295/I-76/Route 42 Direct Connection Project, $480 million Route 7 Hackensack River Wittpenn Bridge project, $350 million Route 72 Manahawkin Bay Bridges Project, $170 million Route 3 at the Passaic River Crossing project, $100 million Route 280/Route 21 Interchange Improvements Project, $53 million Route 130 over Raccoon Creek Bridge replacement and pavement rehabilitation project, and $35 million Route 54/Route 322 over Cape May Point Branch. He also worked on $1.34 billion Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation (RREM) Program, SUNY Purchase College - Humanities Building, and Landlord Rental Repair Program (LRRP) . 

Mr. Hussein received his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, with a focus in geotechnical and construction management. Moreover, Mr. Hussein is an active adjunct professor at several colleges. He is a member of a number of professional organizations including the American Concrete Institute (ACI), National Society of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), Earthquake Engineers Research Institute (EERI), and Geo-Institute (G-I).
